When to Find Brussels Sprouts: These little buds generally appear on our market tables around September. When picking your sprouts, choose those that are firm and bright green. Avoid loose leaves!

Best Uses for Brussels Sprouts: When cooking them at home, try sauteing them honey, garlic, rosemary, or other spices! They also work great when shaved and added to salads.

How to Store Brussels Sprouts: Store your sprouts in a plastic bag in the fridge to prevent them from wilting. Make sure not to wash them, as this could cause them to get slimy. Stocking up for the winter? Steam and freeze them and they'll keep for nearly a year.
