Blueberries Frozen

Most customers assume that they can only get our fruit in the summer, but that's all changed! As part of our sustainability initiative and to cut down on our waste, we have been pureeing, cubing, and freezing our summer fruit.

This is perfect for restaurants, caterers, chefs, bakers, and foodies. Our fruit is high quality and sourced from our own farm or trusted sources. Don't skimp on quality when it comes to frozen products!

Taste: Blueberries are soft and velvety, with a vanilla-sweet flavor and smooth texture.

Nutritional Info:

  • Loaded with fiber, vitamins C and B6, folate, and potassium

  • High in antioxidants, which work to fight free radicals in the body

When to Look for Blueberries: In the Okanagan Valley, blueberries begin ripening in the first week of July and finish in the middle of September, depending on the variety. The earliest variety is typically Duke, and the last Elliot. We do all our freezing at the perfect ripeness.

Best Uses for Blueberries: Blueberries are fantastic in desserts, oatmeal, and pancakes, but they’re also good in savory dishes.  Get inspired by First Nation recipes and use blueberries to flavor roasts and stews, add them into savory cornbread, or even on pizza!

How to Store Frozen Blueberries: We vacuum seal all our berries for optimal freshness. When opening the bag leave in the fridge or counter to dethaw and separate the pieces. To reseal add to a larger bag or use a reusable clip.
