• Skillet Granola Recipe

    We tried skillet granola for the first time last week and fell in love. It’s a really easy way to make granola and the end result is, of course, delicious.

    Ingredients:

    • 3 tbsp butter
    • 3 tbsp maple syrup (or your preferred liquid sweetener)
    • ½ chopped walnuts
    • ¼ dried cranberries
    • 1 ¼ tsp cinnamon
    • 1 diced apple
    • 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats

    Directions

    1. In a nonstick skillet, melt mutter and syrup over medium heat.
    2. Add next 3 ingredients, cook and stir for 2 minutes
    3. Add apple and oats and cook, stirring until golden, for 5 minutes
    4. Transfer from skillet to cool

    We topped our finished granola with a scoop of greek yogurt and sprinkled with more cinnamon.
