  • Peaches are rich in beta-carotene, which plays an important role in maintaining healthy eyesight

When to Look for Fairhaven Peaches: Fairhavens are an early-season peach that can be found about three weeks earlier than Elberta and one week before Halehavens, usually in the beginning of August.

Best Uses for Fairhaven:  An all purpose peach, Fairhavens are firm enough to grill, caramelize, make pies, dry into peach rings, or just eat on their own with a dash of cinnamon and vanilla.

How to Store Fairhaven Peaches: Like all peaches, fairhavens need to be soften on the counter top and then stored in the refrigerator. Keep an eye on them so they don't get too soft!
